Software for North Carolina adult care and family care homes
Ralfor is one app for a North Carolina adult care home or family care home, small or large: residents, medications, staff, incidents, monitoring-visit readiness and families, with an AI assistant that prepares work and follows your role and approval settings.
Adult care homes and family care homes
North Carolina licenses adult care homes under 10A NCAC 13F and family care homes (two to six residents) under 13G. When you sign up, Ralfor asks which licence you hold and sets up the rules it tracks for that licence type. Each due date shows the rule it came from so you can check it.
Our North Carolina rule references have not yet had a professional legal review. Treat them as a helpful starting point, and check anything important against the rules themselves, the Adult Care Licensure Section or your county adult home specialist.
For small homes and larger communities
- One app instead of binders, a spreadsheet and a group text.
- AI with clear authority. It prepares work and can perform permitted actions under your approval settings. Clinical and financial decisions retain their required human controls.
- Keep working when AI is unavailable. Use the app’s forms and records directly; AI assistance needs a configured provider.
- English and Spanish interface; installs on a phone or tablet.
Where we are today
Our demo is a sample home in Raleigh with made-up residents. We are not asking any home to enter real resident information until the safeguards for that are in place. Request early access and we'll tell you when your home can start.
See it on a sample home. A 20-minute call where we walk through a day at a care home in Ralfor: med pass, an incident, a call-out, a family update. Sample residents only; you never need to share real resident information to see it.

General information, not legal advice. Rules differ by state and licence type and change over time. Check your own licensing guidance before you change how your home works: in Virginia the VDSS Division of Licensing Programs and the 22VAC40-73 standards; in North Carolina the DHSR Adult Care Licensure Section, your county DSS adult home specialist and the 10A NCAC 13F and 13G rules.
